Lift Blueprint

Goods Hoists - Belt Drives

  • The hoisting belts are purpose manufactured for hoisting applications
  • Kevlar reinforced belts allow for reduced drive drum diameters
  • Lift strokes for "BIW" and painted vehicles up to 13,5 meters are achievable
  • Lifting capacities (SWL) up to 1500kgs are achievable
  • Hoisting velocities are between 25m/min and 35m/min
  • Hoisting power used is typically 5.0kW, standby drive units can be mounted at either end of the drive shaft, thereby reducing change over times
  • All hoisting safety devices are built-in to design inclusive of, slack belt, over load, over travels
  • Maintenance access and platform are integrally designed around the hoisting frame

Goods Hoists - Chain Drives

  • Chain drives reduce flexibility when hoist loads exceed 1500kg
  • Chain drives are preferred in applications where positive up and downward drive is required
  • 1.5" and 2" simplex transmission chain is used with hoist power of 4.0kW
  • In high temperature applications (A-ovens) specific bearings in combination with lubrication systems are used

Scissor Lifter - Ball Screw Drive

  • Ball screw drive allows for very accurate strokes controlled via ‘variable speed drive’ as well as ‘DOL’
  • Lifting capacities up to 2500kgs are achievable
  • Lifting stokes up to 1200mm are achievable with base dimensions of 6000mm
  • The double scissors creates a very stable platform, suitable for process functions and access
  • Anti-collapse and anti-pinch safeties are built-in features
  • The ball screw design is particularly suited to ‘paintshop’ environments and engine fitted

Skid Change Hoists

  • The skid change hoist is designed with polyester lifting belts
  • This system interchanges bodyshop skid with paintshop skids, and is capable of dealing multi-derivative skids
  • Skid positioning is via ‘over-centre’ clamping pairs per skid
  • Stokes up to 1000mm are achievable to clear skid tooling
  • Drive into and out of the system is controlled by change pole motors or variable speed drives pending on the cycle requirements
  • The system is designed around high duty cycles in excess of 200 changes per day
