Side Transfer Chain Buffer

• The chain drive is used to index the buffer
• The travelling pop-up is used to shuffle the buffer
• The static pop-up unit is to eject the units out onto the production line
• For buffers in excess of twelve units, multiple travelling pop-ups can be used to achieve cycle times
• For shorter buffers the index function of the chain can be omitted, leaving the travelling pop-ups to place units on stands and shuffle the buffer
